| | Fresh Start! is the Arts Presentation Canada Development Support component offered by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
CCI is pleased to announce: Fresh Start VII
The following new deadlines support activities between September 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010:
August 21, 2009,
November 13, 2009 and
January 22, 2010.
The principal goal of the Fresh Start! Program is to assist organizations in developing their capacity as an arts presenter. An arts presenter, as defined by the Department of Canadian Heritage, is a non-profit organization that selects artistic programming for public presentation in their community, based on an artistic vision. Ultimately, Fresh Start! aims to expand the presenter network thus increasing interaction among audiences and artists.
Since the FRESH START! Program is meant to assist presenting organizations in gaining presenting experience, it is required that interested applicants speak with the FRESH START! Program Manager before proceeding with an application to the program. Please send an e-mail to freshstart@ccio.on.ca
